Firefox will not download homework

Problem

When using Firefox 22 or above web browser, one user has reported the documents in the document manager will not download.

Cause

TherapyCharts sends the blank homework assignments to your local web brower unencrypted because they do not contain sensitive PHI. Sending it unencrypted is more efficient. However Firefox does not like this and blocks the transfer. This is not a bug in TherapyCharts. This is caused by a security setting in Firefox versions 22, 23, and above. You need to disable this setting.

Solution

After clicking the download button in the Homework Planner dialog box. A small shield control will appear in left side of the URL bar. Click this shield and choose "Disable protection on this page."
