Technical Requirements

TherapyCharts requires a modern up-to-date web browser and a connection to the internet.

The minimum screen size should be 1280x800. Smaller screen will likely work with minimal functionality. Common issues with smaller screens include things like certain navigation icons not showing.

The latest edition of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and IE will be supported.

Planned Maintenance

There is one smaller daily maintenance window:

  • Daily Starting At: 23:00 hrs ET - Ending At: 23:59 hrs ET

There are larger weekly maintenance windows on weekend evenings:

  • Starting At: Fri @ 23:00 hrs ET - Ending At: Sat @ 06:00 hrs ET
  • Starting At: Sat @ 23:00 hrs ET - Ending At: Sun @ 06:00 hrs ET
  • Starting At: Sun @ 23:00 hrs ET - Ending At: Mon @ 06:00 hrs ET

Unplanned Events

Status updates for cyber security incidents or unplanned events resulting in outages lasting longer then a few minutes will be made via our company Twitter account visible at https://twitter.com/TherapyCharts . Tweets will remain viable for the duration of the event until services are restored.

Browser Details

Minimum Security Level Requirement

The browser MUST support TLS. Currently the following browsers support TLS 1.1 and 1.2:

TherapyCharts is tested on Chrome 63+ and Firefox. The latest edition of Internet Explorer, Safari, and others will likely work but are not officially supported, so if there are problems under a previous version please switch to the latest version of either Chrome or Firefox.

The browser must support and have TLS > 1.2 and have TLS enabled.

Unsupported Browsers

While some may work, all browsers except the latest edition are not supported.

Failed Security Test List

Browsers or browsers built with these toolkits or libraries, are NOT supported because of security limitations:

Discontinued Browsers

Beginning on 30 April 2015, support for browers with SSLv3 will be DISCONTINUED. Only TLS will be supported.

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 10

Beginning on 1 August 2013, support for the following browsers versions will be DISCONTINUED:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 9

Beginning on 1 August 2011, support for the following browsers versions will be DISCONTINUED:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 & IE 8
  • Mozilla Firefox 3.5
  • Apple Safari 3

After August 1, you may have trouble using certain features in TherapyCharts with these older browsers, and eventually these apps may stop working entirely.

Why the change?

To give users the best experience with TherapyCharts, we need the capabilities of modern browsers to deliver features such as notifications and file upload.

For this reason, beginning 1 August 2011, TherapyCharts will support the current and previous major releases of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari on a rolling basis. Each time a new version is released, we’ll begin supporting that version and stop supporting the third-oldest version.

For the best experience and support, we encourage you to update to the latest version of your favorite browser now. There are many to choose from:
