Does TherapyCharts sync to my personal calendar?
Overview
Currently, we sync with Google calendar and are investigating integration to other calendaring systems. The settings are available in the Configuration area of your account. Click on the Calendaring sub tab to locate either the link to share appointments by name or appointments with all information hidden. You can then use the link according to instructions of your phone or calendar app on adding iCal file calendars to provide Read-Only access to the calendar.
To Enable
- Login to TherapyCharts
- Click Configuration
- Click Calendar / Scheduling Subtab
- Find the Google Calendar Integration panel
- Clicking the checkbox will enable integration
- Click submit and save
- Choose which of the Events URL which will be used in the next steps.
- The UnLabled Event URL provides events without any details -- only the date and time of the appointment.
- The Labeled Event URL provides events with some details.
For Android / Google Calendar
- Login to Google Calendar by the website
- In the left nav, find "Other calendars"
- Next to "Other calendars" find the small drop-down arrow icon
- Left click the arrow icon
- Select "Add by URL"
- Copy/Paste the Calendar URL into this field
- Do NOT make the calendar public
- Click the "Add Calendar" button
Note: Google only refreshes the iCal on a periodic basis. Google says every few hours, which in our experience means 6-24.

For iPhone
- Get your iPhone
- Open Setting Application
- Scroll down and tap Calendar
- Tap on Accounts
- Tap Add Account
- Tap Other
- Tap Add Subscribed Calendar
- Enter the URL (by Copy/Paste Operation)
To Disable
- Login to TherapyCharts
- Click Configuration
- Click Calendar / Scheduling Subtab
- Find the Google Calendar Integration panel
- Uncheck the checkbox
- Click submit and save
Note: Disabling integration will remove and void the previous URL. Any calendar apps with them will need to be updated and if it is re-enabled the URLs will need to be updated.
