This series of questions is set up to ensure that your system is set up to download the information in client files so that you can either fax, email, or print them to share with other professionals.

Verify Permissions

Can you view the information you want to print in the user interface? If not, speak to your site administrator to gain permission to view the forms.

Is the print button shown in the upper left corner for most forms? If not, speck to your site administrator for permission to print forms.

Is the print button grayed out?

Verify Internet Settings

Click the print button. Does your internet browser display the download? If not, please check your internet browser's configuration settings. Specifically, examine whether you have activated:

-- popup blocker: These will prevent your form from downloading. Please add TherapyCharts to your exception list to get the files when you generate them.

-- virus scanner: These may prevent new windows from opening and keep you from seeing the download. Please add TherapyCharts to your trusted site list to allow new windows.

--Download settings: These determine how files are accepted by your computer. Some systems will give a prompt in the lower left hand corner of the browser "would you like to download this file" or "discard/keep" If this appears please confirm that you would like the file so that you can open it.

--Download file directory: Check your download folder. Some internet browsers will save the file directly to the folder that you have specified. Most often this is either the Download folder or a Temporary Internet File folder on your operating system.

Verify you have the proper software

If your configuration is to download a odt format please use Open Office to open the file. If you don't have open office installed either reinstall open office, download the program, or choose another file format.
