What goes in the goal statement section?

The goal statement section holds information stating the end result that will be observed when the patient has completed treatment. These often reflect either functional complaints or remission of diagnostic symptoms. A goal statement might say:

  • Jane will control her destructive impulses.
  • John will modulate his depressive symptoms to complete his activities of daily living.
